Assignment 2a: Leadership

J.D Russo's presentation speaks to me in a number of ways, primarily his point about "the opposite of progress, is indifference". This is a profound statement, and is quite common on a daily basis. From the smallest groups in society to Society as a whole, is plagued by indifference. To progress, we need to rid ourselves of our procrastination, our uncaring and unwilling nature. As a leader, it is our job to motivate not only ourselves but to motivate others to accomplish their jobs/tasks and to "tame our self-gratification monkey".
