Assignment 12: Essential Question

Essential Question: What factors affect DNA extraction and purification?

I selected this question to form my Final Research Project around because there are protocols at Aeon that we must follow to ensure we get as much pure DNA out of the extraction as possible and I would like to see why we follow such protocols, and why we don't leave samples outside of the freezer, despite colleagues saying we could. This research project excites me most because I will be answering the question above, doing so via experiment.
