The book contains valuable protocol and procedure, of which I will be following to complete my extraction, along with information surrounding the procedures of the DNA extraction. It details the complex, inner workings of each step such as; how the DNA is replicated, what processes do what, and general information regarding the processes.

The source is credible because it has been peer-reviewed by scientists with their PHDs in Molecular Biology, Chemistry and Biochemistry. It is also the Standard Protocol and Procedure book for all processes the Aeon Global Health completes.

I will use it both to cite information and as the guidelines for the protocol procedure for the DNA Extraction I will be doing, testing which storage method will be the best for DNA Purification, along with what inhibits DNA purification (i.e if the patient drank a soda before having their moth swabbed, if the patient ate something high in Sodium before having their mouth swabbed, etc.).
